Buet team becomes Runner Up in the Global Final of ISCEA PTAK Prize Global Case Competition 2019

The team, consisting of highly talented minds like Mehnaj Tabassum, Shaikha Shohuda Tuktuk, Jumana Akhter Tanuja and Adri Das, has earned a notable achievement for our country, as they have made their mark in the most sought Global competition that recognizes young supply chain talents from across the world.

The first position in the competition was won by the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, India and the third Position was won by the world’s best supply chain education institute – Cranfield School of Management (Cranfield University), United Kingdom.

The 3 winning teams will participate in the 2020 ISCEA Ptak Prize Award Ceremony to be held in Las Vegas, NV, USA on June 20, 2020.

ISCEA PTAK Prize Global Supply Chain Case Competition is now considered as the most sought competition for university students and young executives around the world. The competition has been taking place in Bangladesh since 2013. In 2019 at ISCEA Bangladesh part, 331 teams of students and young executives competed at the national level from which top 5 team participated at the global final.

ISCEA, headquartered in Ohio, USA, is the world leader in supply chain certification and recognition programs. ISCEA supports the PTAK Prize competition worldwide. PTAK Prize is the most prestigious recognition program worldwide for corporates and young professionals for achieving supply chain excellence.

In Bangladesh, this is the only competition that provides scholarship worth US$ 3,00,000 every year to the top 100 teams (400 participants) to join most recognised CSCA (Certified Supply Chain Analyst) program of ISCEA.
